I just came across this photographer on Pinterest…and I’m in love with her work! The photographer’s name is Lalla Essaydi. (Lalla means “beautiful” in Arabic).
When I first saw it (before reading the background), I thought…this reminds me of me and Hamid. Literally, behind closed doors…this is us…talking and enjoying each other’s company.
Intrigued at how much this reminded me of Morocco…ends up this is all done by a Moroccan photographer (now based in NYC).
